Making Then Now
When everyone else is “ok”, she is ok. When that’s not the case, she is a wreck. She knows why this is and where it comes from. But she's trying to turn the corner, to rewrite her story. To break down the limiting beliefs and to stand on her own. She is enough and she doesn't need to check with anyone else to make that determination. Slowly, weakly, and still with hesitation, she starts to dream again….
How old is the oldest tennis pro? Do artists really make a living? What does luxury look like? What does luxury look like for her? Where are the little wins in each day, in each hour?
When the dreams aren't specific, she goes broad. What would the dreams come true feel like?
Bliss. Romance. Security. Assurance. Joy. Wonder. Accomplishment. Confidence.
So she starts there, incorporating those feelings in the now. Turning today into the would-be tomorrow. They are one. That is how the dreams come true no matter what they are, no matter how they manifest. When engulfed in the emotion, the dream is now. Then, any future realities are bonus points.
So maybe that's the new beginning. Maybe any past traumas melt away. And, maybe this is where she goes from here. Starting small, building momentum, watching the miracles flow to her.
