Bla Bla Bla

“Get out of your head,” she said she said

Take the day off, try breakfast in bed

How would it go on this rainy old day

Outside or in,  find a way to play

Here she sits still stuck writing rhymes

Brain is a fog, cant turn on a dime

Where did it go, the creativity the streaming

The only work done is the laundry and cleaning

Put on some music, love songs but fun

Dance it all out dear,  you are the sun

Stuck still stuck between has been and not yet

Will this funk ever end? Surely, don't fret

Oh to be able to dream and believe

Manifestations. Not just achieve, achieve

Maybe for now a poem is enough

The stories will come back don't be so rough

Rough on yourself and that known potential

The best is yet to come….what even rhymes with potential?

Girl live in the now, don't worry what's next

He created you for this and He does  know best

Even if you don't, it's all planned out

A future and a hope, He says. Don't doubt

So in the meantime don't just chug along

Stay firm in the faith, you are so strong

Now here she is just talking to herself

Rain overhead, plants happy on the shelf

Focusing on the good, not the longings inside

Patience, growth, patience when the best decides to hide

Everything works out just as it should

Soon there will be more than you ever thought could

Poems, how boring. Bla bla bla bla

That's all for now. Eyes roll with a “ha”
